CARPATHIA as tourism destination has been presented this week at the International Tourism Fair (ITB) in Berlin. Our colleague Iulia Florea, coordinator for our tourism & wilderness programmes, promotes our example of sustainable, environmental friendly conservation enterprises. As such there are:

– 4 wildlife watching hides in the Carpathian wilderness
– excursion and hikes to the various project activities
– Cobor Biodiversity Farm – a 500 ha organic farm at the foot of the Făgăraș Mountains, with splendid opportunities for bird watching and for general biodiversity conservation work.
